A sunny sky greeted the visitors to the second Batch & Bushel Farmer’s Market of the year Thursday afternoon at the Wilson County Expo Center.
The Batch & Bushel Farmer’s Market opened for the season Thursday afternoon at the Wilson County Expo Center and will be open every Thursday through the summer, except in August.
The Batch & Bushel Farmer’s Market will return May 3 with an extended season that will last from May through July, September and October.
The second-annual Batch & Bushel Showcase at the Wilson County Expo Center had hundreds of visitors Friday and Saturday as sponsors encouraged Wilson County residents to shop locally.

Wilson County Exposition Center and the Lebanon Publishing Co. will present the Batch & Bushel Showcase on Friday and Saturday at the expo center from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day.
