Hudson is a Level 4-certified archery instructor trained by U.S. Olympic coach Kisik Lee, as well as USA Archery Development coaches Ginger Hopwood and Tim Strickland. He owns and operates H lazy H Archery in Mt. Juliet, teaching archery skills to all levels and ages.
He has been involved with the sport for more than 25 years, pioneering archery programs with the YMCA and the Tennessee School for the Blind, as well as corporate and group outings that focused in the areas of team building, problem solving, communication and overcoming interpersonal challenges.
“Archery is a growing collegiate sport, and I think we have found a tremendous coach and instructor to start the program in Mike Hudson,” Pavan said. “He has the experience and the facilities to help Cumberland recruit quality student-athletes to our university.”
