A single vehicle rollover crash with injury was reported on Interstate 40 eastbound near mile marker 239 at approximately 4:30 p.m., according to a report from the Lebanon Police Department.

The vehicle apparently rolled off the road down an embankment and onto the railroad tracks behind Uncle Pete’s Truck Stop.

The incident only involved one vehicle, and the driver was the only one in the vehicle at the time, according to P.J. Hardy of the Lebanon Police Department.

There were lane closures and traffic backup as a result of the incident. LifeFlight responded, but the victim was taken to Tennova Healthcare via ambulance.

Lebanon Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol and Wilson County Emergency Management Agency responded to the incident.

The victim’s identity was not immediately available.
