Game time for Cumberland’s soccer match Saturday against Madonna University in the NAIA Championship Opening Round at Lindsey Donnell Stadium-Kirk Field has been moved to 11 a.m. CT, trying to beat the torrential rain in the forecast, as announced Friday by the athletic department.

Forecasts call for a 100-percent chance of rain Saturday in the middle Tennessee area, with heavier rains starting after lunch and continuing to strengthen throughout the rest of the day.

Cumberland is playing in its second NAIA Opening Round all-time, dropping a 1-0 decision in double overtime two years ago at home to Southeastern University. Madonna is making its fourth NAIA appearance but first since 2011.
