They are bright reminders of neighbors who fight for each other in the darkest times. For Sherry’s Run, the goal is a lime-green pop of color throughout the community to remind everyone to support those neighbors who battle cancer.
Bows are currently on sale to support Sherry’s Run in Wilson County.
As a new twist this year, Sherry’s Run volunteers ask the community to show off those lime-green bows on social media. Simply take a photo of a green bow or bows on a car, house, mailbox or wherever they are displayed. Then, share the photo with Sherry’s Run on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and be entered in a drawing to win free Sherry’s Run merchandise.
Green bows are on sale for $10 each. They may be purchased when registering for the 13th annual Sherry’s Run at sherrysrun.org or through paper registration form. A “Paint the Town Green” bow order form may be printed at sherrysrun.org and mailed. Bows may also be ordered by contacting Sherry’s run at 615-925-2592 or [email protected]
Green bows may be picked up Aug. 9, Aug. 23 and Sept. 6 from 4-6 p.m. at the Sherry’s Run office at 110 Babb Drive in Lebanon.
Bows may also be picked up Sept. 8 from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m., Sept. 9 from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Sept. 10 from 6:30-8 a.m. at the Sherry’s Run event site at 623 W. Main St. in Lebanon.
