Bennett pinned as newest Rotarian

Jenny Bennett, director of tourism in Wilson County, was pinned as the newest member of the Lebanon Noon Rotary Club on Tuesday.

Laura Headley, president elect of the club, officially inducted Bennett as a member during a ceremony prior to the Rotary Club meeting.

Bennett, an alumna of Cumberland University, has lived in Wilson County for the past 15 years.

Prior to being named the county’s tourism director, Bennett worked for Cracker Barrel Old Country Store’s home office in Lebanon.

Bennett began in her role as tourism director in January. She has previously been a guest at Rotary Club meetings and served as guest speaker at a Rotary meeting.

The Lebanon Noon Rotary Club meets each Tuesday at noon at the Lebanon Golf & Country Club and consists of service-minded individuals who work together to improve the community through various volunteer and fundraising projects.
