Wanted suspect caught after foot chase

Wilson County sheriff’s deputies caught a wanted suspect Wednesday morning after a brief foot chase.

At about 10:15 a.m., a Wilson County deputy saw a man who fit the description of a suspect with active warrants.

The deputy turned around and got out of his car, at which point he recognized the man was Donavan Adams, 42, of Lebanon, who had an active warrant for probation violation.

Deputies chased Adams around the areas of Lone Pine Drive, Old Hunters Point and Cedar Grove Road.

Deputies caught Adams and charged him with probation violation and evading arrest. He was taken to Wilson County Jail and held on $2,000 bond.
