Two Loudon men were charged Tuesday in the May killing of another Loudon man.

The arrests came after a joint investigation by Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents and Loudon police detectives.

James Johnson was found dead in his home in May. TBI agents joined Loudon police detectives to investigate the killing and found information that Christopher Blake Orr, 29, of Ooltewah, and Clarence Porter, 31, of Chattanooga, were suspects in Johnson’s death.

The U.S. Marshals Service Smokey Mountain Fugitive Task Force in Chattanooga arrested Porter on Aug. 17 and booked him in at the Loudon County Jail, where he was held on a $500,000 bond.

Orr was arrested in Jefferson County, Colorado on Tuesday where he awaited extradition back to Tennessee.

Both men were charged with first-degree murder, especially aggravated robbery, theft of more than $1,000 and felon in possession of a firearm.
