Mt. Juliet and Metro Nashville police officers have a potentially armed suspect on the run in a Mt. Juliet subdivision.

The suspect, wanted in connection with a Nashville incident, was spotted in the woods between Chandler Pointe and Cobblestone Landing.

Police Chief James Hambrick advised residents in the area to lock their doors.

According to the Mt. Juliet police Facebook page, the suspect is described as a shirtless Hispanic or possibly white man, wearing black pants and holding a gray hoodie.
