Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents charged three Bluff City residents with violating an election law.

Agents started an investigation into reports of election law violations June 19. The violations happened during the May municipal election in Bluff City.

The investigation revealed John R. Harrison, 54, Sherry Grubb, 58, and Brooke Morrell, 29, all from Bluff City, entered a polling place during voting hours for reasons other than to cast a vote or assist another voter.

A criminal summons was issued this week that charged Harrison, Grubb and Morrell with one count of election law violation.
