Vehicle collision with building results in one injury

One person was injured after a vehicle hit a building in Mt. Juliet on Wednesday morning, according to Joey Cooper, director of the Wilson County Emergency Management Agency.

The driver of the vehicle, Gary Mullins, 67, had to be extricated and was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center. The extent of the injuries is unknown.

WEMA was dispatched at about 10:40 a.m. to 8023 Lebanon Road in Mt. Juliet. There were no people in the building at the time of the incident.

The Mt. Juliet Fire Department and the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene. The sheriff’s office is leading the investigation into the incident.
