Lebanon Square merchants joined forces in June to rock the block, and September’s edition is expected to be just as exciting.

The September Rock the Block will be Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the Lebanon Square and feature food trucks, fun and fashion.

The square merchants have planned community events and brought awareness to the local businesses in the downtown area for several years. A dedicated effort remains the same to provide the community with a downtown and family friendly event.

The first Rock the Block was held in June and was such a success, the square merchants decided to make it a monthly event.

“Each month brings something a little bit different, but food trucks and live music are something we aim to always have for Rock the Block”, said Joey Pine with Iddy & Oscar’s.

The businesses that plan to participate in Rock the Block include Jessy’s Boutique, POSH, Healthy Bones Chiropractic, Dreams Boutique, Bountiful Acres Farm, Iddy & Oscar’s, Trendz Salon, Wilkie’s Outfitters, Simple Southern Threads, Urban Mills Promotions and Boutique, the Loft Hair Studio, Lucky Pearl Designs, Poppie’s, Boutique, Square Market, 3:Sixteen and Venue 142.

The square merchants, Lebanon officials and the Lebanon-Wilson County Chamber of Commerce work together to present Rock the Block each month.
