Ms. Tennessee Senior Wilson County contestants wanted

The Ms. Tennessee Senior Wilson County Committee is taking applications for contestants for the Ms. Senior Wilson County Pageant on Saturday, Aug. 20. 

The pageant will be at 2:30 p.m. at the Fiddlers Grove Opry Stage during the Wilson County Fair.

Contestants will be judged on poise, personality, evening gown and talent. Each lady is required to give a 30-second talk on her philosophy of life. The winner will advance to the Ms. Tennessee Senior Pageant.

Rehearsal will be Aug. 15 at 5:30 p.m. at the Fiddlers Grove Opry Stage.

According to the pageant’s rules, contestants must be 60 years old or older. Each contestant is required to pay a $20 entry fee. Only the contestants will be admitted at no charge to the Wilson County Fair. All contestants must be residents of Wilson County.

“We invite you to be a part of this very special group of ladies,” said Linda Spencer with the pageant. “You will meet new people and make a lot of memories.”
