For the past 20 years, in addition to providing free licensed athletic trainer coverage and consultation services, Tennova Healthcare–Lebanon has provided free annual sports screenings for student athletes at Wilson County middle and high Schools.

The hospital continued the tradition May 6 when 232 students came to Tennova’s campus for their free screenings. Hospital personnel said the event was a huge success, totaling $12,000 in community benefits.

Tennova organized the event with voluntary assistance from local healthcare providers and the sports medicine outreach program at Wilson County high schools.
