The four-day, indoor show will include live garden displays, lectures, vendors, floral designs and special programing, including the popular Tennessee Wine Festival on March 3. This year’s theme, Guerrilla Gardening and the Urban Jungle, will highlight topics such as small-space gardens, urban horticulture, aquaponics, community gardens and more.
The centerpiece of the Nashville Lawn and Garden Show is the walk-through interactive garden displays from some of Middle Tennessee’s top landscape and gardening companies. The garden area will include some first-time participants this year, and several new spaces will be added in the garden building. An extensive schedule of free lectures from guest experts and the Davidson County Master Gardeners will be offered each day on a variety of wonderful topics. For shoppers and green thumbs alike, the marketplace will be filled with more than 175 vendors with 300 exhibit booths to offer a variety of plants, seeds, home décor, gardening equipment, books and free advice for that next gardening project. The region’s top floral designers will showcase their talents in the floral design gallery.
In its 29th year, the Nashville Lawn and Garden show is Tennessee’s largest and most popular annual gardening event. More than 18,000 people from around the mid-South region visit the show each year. The family friendly show is indoors and is fully handicapped accessible. On-site parking is available, and shuttles are provided. The Fairgrounds Nashville is at 500 Wedgewood Ave.
