Volleydawgs sign juco All-American

Cumberland volleyball coach Dwayne Deering has announced the signing of two-time junior-college All-American Katie Ball from Gadsden (Ala.) State Community College.
A two-time region Player of the Year, Ball led her team with 506 kills, 229 digs, 72 solo blocks, 66 blocking assists and 29 aces during the 2006 season.
She will join the Volleydawgs in the spring 2007 semester.
