Tye's season-high 20 points leads another CU win

No. 6 Lady Bulldogs beat No. 12 Georgetown on road

GEORGETOWN, Ky. – Briannica Tye scored a season-high 20 points with four 3-pointers and No. 6 Cumberland used an 11-2 run late in the game to pull away for a 67-58 victory over 12th-ranked Georgetown College here Thursday night at Davis-Reid Alumni Gym.

Cumberland (21-1, 12-1 Mid-South) made eight 3-pointers in the contest, including six in the first half, and Tye continued her stellar play in big games, leading the Bulldogs to their eighth straight win overall.
