"It was ugly at first, great in the middle and then they got two in the ninth," Watertown coach Brandy Holcomb said.
Smith County scored twice times in the second inning and three times in the third.
Watertown answered in the bottom of the third when Brewington doubled and scored on Mallory Josey's single.
The Tigerettes finished with eight hits, including Holden's double in the bottom of the ninth. McKay Hill singled twice and Leanna Warren once, scoring in the seventh.
Watertown will play host to Westmoreland at 5 p.m. Monday at Three Forks.

Leech doubled and singled as the Lady Saints lashed nine hits to back the pitching of Caroline Scott, who allowed two hits in the three-inning game.
Mt. Juliet Christian scored 16 times in the bottom of the first inning to wipe out a 1-0 Glencliff edge.

HENDERSONVILLE — Wilson Central finished a 3-3 season-opening week in the Commando Classic with a 4-3 win over Dobyns Bennett and a 7-4 loss to LaVergne on Thursday at Drakes Creek Park.
Hannah Bodenhorn got the win against Dobyns Bennett, allowing three runs on four hits to improve to 2-1.
Rachel Tichenor went 2-for-2 with two runs scored while Kelsey Tomlin, Allie Bennett and Lauren Stavinoga each stroked one hit.
LaVergne scored three first-inning runs and added two more in the second to drop Morgan Powell to 1-2. A season-high five errors made just three Lady Wolverine runs earned.
All four Wilson Central hits came in the fourth inning, including Stavinoga's two-run homer, her second blast of the season. Bennett, Powell and Hailey Hubbell had the other hits.
