Purple Tigers remain in AP poll at No. 7

Watertown's boys slipped two spots to seventh in the latest Associated Press Class A poll released Monday.
The Purple Tigers, 18-3 going into Monday night's game at Monterey, picked up 57 points in voting by AP-member sportswriters and broadcasters from across the state.
No. 6 Union City [14-7] collected 69 points and No. 8 Clay County [16-4] 51.
