Verbie Lavell Allen

Services for Mrs. Allen will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at The Sanctuary on Franklin Road in Lebanon. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until the service on Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Allen, 85, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012 at her home.

Survivors include: husband of 66 years, Rev. James H. Allen; children, Verbie Jo (Mike) Davis, James Robert 'Bobby' (Joyce) Allen, Janice Marie Cox and Pamela Renee (Ron) Franklin; grandchildren, Melissa Jo (Chuck) Byrd, Michael John (Chantel) Grammer, Erick Shane Creasey, Kevin Howard (Chassity) Allen, Joseph Lee (Liz) Hager, William Keith (Michelle) Boykin, Kenneth Allen (Jennifer) Boykin and Robert Brandon (Emily) Allen; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Sellars Funeral Home at Stone Mansion in charge of arrangements.

Wayne Argo Worley

A Memorial Service for Mr. Worley will be 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, at Partlow Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be 2 p.m. until the service on Sunday.

Mr. Worley, 61, of Lebanon, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012 at Centennial Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Magdalene Worley.

Survivors include: wife, Stephanie J. Worley; son, John (Sommer) Worley; daughters, Juli Cargill and Christine Fryar; brothers, Dean (Jannie) Worley and James Worley; stepbrother, H.B. (JoAnne) McDonald; grandchildren, Gabriel and Cutler Worley and Joshua and Chrystal Fryar.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Disabled Veterans Association (DVA).
