Emma Brown Armstrong
Funeral Services for Mrs. Armstrong will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 27, at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown with Rev. Michael Brewer officiating. Interment in Jennings Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 26 and prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Armstrong, 88, of Mt. Juliet, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at Elmcroft in Lebanon. She was born in March of 1924 in Statesville to the late Olden and Monty Smith Jennings. She graduated from Watertown High School and retired from First American Bank in the Trust Department.
She was preceded in death by: parents; husband, Charles Armstrong; sister, Lois Telford; and brother, Henry Jennings.
Survivors include: nieces and nephews, Linda (Michael) Brewer of Charleston, Mo., Gary (Regina) Jennings of Alpharetta, Ga. and Dana (Tony) Davis of Knoxville.
Pallbearers will be Myron Smith, Gary Jennings, Kerry Armstrong, Jack Armstrong, David Harvey and Tim Wood.
Funeral Services for Mr. Beckwith will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 27, at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown with Bro. Tim Robinson officiating. Interment in Hearn Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday, July 26 and prior to services on Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Beckwith, 92, of Watertown, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at University Medical Center. He was born in October of 1919 in Smith Co. to the late Frank Baird Beckwith and Ella Crowder Beckwith. His church affiliation was Watertown Church of Christ and he graduated from Watertown High School. He a United States Army Veteran of WWII and received the Purple Heart for combact injuries. He was a Charter Member of the Watertown Lion's Club, a former Alderman and Mayor of the City of Watertown, a member of the American Legion, VFW and Big Brothers. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service and delivered Meals-On-Wheels to citizens for many years.
He was preceded in death by: parents; brothers, Sam and Irenus Beckwith; and niece, Judy Cato.
Survivors include: niece, Sandra Kay Word of Watertown; nephews, Glen (Judy) Beckwith of Brush Creek and Ralph (Fay) Beckwith of Donelson; sister-in-law, Lois Beckwith of Watertown; great-nieces, Cheryl Green of Watertown and Crystal (Kevin) Woodard also of Watertown; great great-nieces and nephews, Kayla and Jacob Thomas and Jessica and Joshua Gammons; great great great-nieces and nephews, Makayla and Crayton Key, Taylor Gammons and Khloe and Kinlee Morgan.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Gammons, Jacob Thomas, Kevin Woodard, Crayton Key, David Roy Lawrence, Larry Harris and William Taylor.

Graveside Services for Ms. Christian will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, in Hardin Family Cemetery.
Ms. Christian, 50, of Watertown, died Saturday, July 21, 2012. She was born in July of 1962 in Cheyenne, Wy. She worked in construction.
Survivors include: parents, David Phillip Klopfer and Judy Ann Warden Bennett; children, Tiffany (Shawn) Eads of Ramona, Ca., Tia Christian also of Ramona and Dustin Prim of Hartsville; grandchildren, Jordan and Josiah Eads; sisters, Janet (Justin) Cummings of Vista, Ca. and Toni Bennett of Ca.; stepfather, Jerry Hardin of Watertown; stepmother, Lori Braswell of Watertown; stepsister, Peggy Braswell of Watertown; stepbrother, Carl Dale Schram of Shelbyville; and special friend, Doyle Wilson Talley, Jr. of Watertown.
