McClain boys post 4th straight win
From staff reports
SHELBYVILLE — McClain Christian's boys beat Victory Baptist 57-35 Monday for the Bulldogs' fourth straight win.
Brandon Fox finished with 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists for McClain while Weston Rountree racked up nine points and 11 caroms. Evan Tubb supplied six points and five rebounds as the Bulldogs improved to 4-5.
"We won a good game tonight in a tough environment," McClain coach Tony McLeod said. "We came out kind of slow, but Eli Shouse, Will Norton and Evan Tubb really provided us with sparks off the bench."
McClain's varsity and middle-school teams will return to action Friday against Pleasant View Christian at Charlie Daniels Park in Mt. Juliet. The middle-game will tip off at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity at 6:15.
