Suspect charged with child rape

A Lebanon man was charged Thursday with 10 counts of child rape.

Mark E. Golladay, 38, of 1204 Murfreesboro Road, was indicted by a grand jury and charged Thursday with 10 counts of rape of a child under 13 years old, according to a sheriff's report.

Sheriff's Det. Robert Stafford said the reported incidents happened in Wilson County, but he would not release specifics of the investigation due to the nature of the charges and the impending trial.

Golladay remained in Wilson County Jail on Monday on $150,000 bond. His next scheduled court date is Jan. 8.
