Empower Me Day Camp urges support for Expo Center project

A proposed Expo Center at the Wilson County Fairgrounds appears to be garnering widespread support heading into the Feb. 25 meeting of the Wilson County Commission where a vote is expected.

Among those coming out in support of the plan is Michelle J. Hill, executive director of Empower Me Day Camp for disabled youngsters. The camp is headquartered at the fairgrounds, and Hill believes the Expo Center would be a benefit to her program and to the community at large.
