Police seek child abuse suspect
Lebanon police want the public's help in finding a suspect with an active warrant from a Wilson County grand jury indictment on two counts of aggravated child abuse, Chief Scott Bowen said Monday.
"This is a disturbing case," Bowen said. "We got the initial incident report in October. I can't go into too many details because the child is now in protective custody."
Anthony Marlin Crawford, 22, faces charges stemming from a four-month investigation involving the alleged abuse of a 2-month-old infant. Bowen said the child is the daughter of Crawford's girlfriend, and the alleged abuse happened in Lebanon.
