Winter blast about to strike mid-state
It's time to get out the thermal underwear that has been in storage for the last couple of years because a cold snap has lowered the boom on Middle Tennessee.
Capt. Steve Spencer handles weather forecasting for the Wilson Emergency Management Agency. Between unseasonably warm weather, followed by sleet and ice, he has been one busy man of late. Now he is warning residents to use caution during the arctic blast that is predicted to slam the county Monday night into Tuesday morning.
