Saints topple Lancaster

MT. JULIET — The Saints of Mt. Juliet Christian scored a 77-50 victory over visiting Lancaster Christian Saturday to move to 9-7 on the season.
Mt. Juliet Christian established a five point lead at the end ofthe first quarter, 15-10, and continued the momentum from there.
The score stood 32-22 at the half, and widened to 57-34 by the end of the third.
Lancaster Christian's Gabe Brewer led all scorers with 28 points.
For the Saints, Victor Underwood fired in 21 points, Blake Marsh tossed in 20, Bryce Middleton 15, Jonathan Roberts six, Austin Wortman five, Devon Bradshaw and Zach Womble each had four, and Tyler Holloway and Zach Orr each put in a free throw.

Friendship Christian's Commanders went down 73-62 at Station Camp Saturday.
The Commanders trailed 17-13 when the buzzer sounded to close the first quarter of play. By the close of the third quarter the gap increased to 52-44.
John Jenkins and Drew McDonald of Station Camp led the scoring with 22 each.
For Friendship, John Hatcher and Garrett McKnight put in 14 each, John Doak added 10, Michael Teeter and Taylor Ferraro tossed in eight, Adam Stephens five and Lee Maason three.
