Marie Bennett Alexander
Services for Ms. Bennett will be 2 p.m. Friday at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon with the Rev. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from noon until services on Friday.
Ms. Alexander, 87, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Josephine Parker Bennett; siblings, Thomas, Cecil, Archie, Herman and Hershel Bennett Lovie Mae Key and Ethel Tyree.
Survivors include: sons, David (Faye) Williams and Paul (Bettye) Williams; a sister, Nealy (Edward) Mitchell; grandchildren, Michael Williams and Alisa (Tony) Hanford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Bowen will be 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until services on Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bowen, 65, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007. She was retired from the City of Lebanon, a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Marshall and Etta Frances Barrett Burton and two infant sisters.
Survivors include: her husband, Frank Bowen; two sons, Dwayne (Lisa) Bowen and Mike Bowen; two sisters, Edna Ashford and Janice McClannahan; two grandchildren Jacob Bowen and Joseph Bowen; and several nieces and nephews.
Nannie Pearl Davis
Services for Mrs. Davis will be 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2 at Jennings and Ayers Chapel in Murfreesboro with the Revs. Willard Runnells and Nathan Hale officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Davis, 86, of Murfreesboro, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007 at NHC National Health Care. She was a Wilson County native. She served many churches with her husband, the Rev. James A. Davis. She was a member of Woodbury Road Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by parents, Elizie H. and Ruth C. Pulley Nokes. Survivors include: her husband; sons, Phillip (Mary) Davis of Antioch, Terry (Lisa) Davis of Clarksville, Wayne (Mary) Davis and Tim (Linda) Davis both of Murfreesboro; sister, Bessie Thompson of Lebanon; grandchildren, Kimberly Minter, Dennis and Kathy Davis, Melissa Sandifer, Andy and Jason Davis, Kelly Sievers, and Robert, Aaron, Sarah and Michelle Davis; and six great-grandchildren.
Danny Ray Smith
Graveside services for Mr. Smith will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 1 at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pegram.
Mr. Smith, 56, of Murfreesboro, died Monday, Oct. 29, 2007. He was retired from the Navy.
Survivors include: sons, Nathan and Mike Smith; brother, Ron Smith; and sister, Bonny.
Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet is in charge of arrangements.
