James H. Ashe
Graveside military services for Mr. Ashe will be Wednesday, May 9, at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until the service Wednesday at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.
Mr. Ashe, 65, of Lebanon, died Sunday, May 6, 2007 at University Medical Center. He was the son of the late Cecil Hatton and Annie Virginia Gay Ashe. He was an Army veteran in the Vietnam War and retired from the Veterans Hospital in Murfreesboro with 20 years of military service. He was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by parents; daughter, Lisa Ashe; brother, Jerry Ashe and sister, Lucille Granstaff Johnson. Survivors include: wife of 37 years, Dorothy "Dot" Baker Ashe; two daughters, Teresa Ashe (Michael Buntin) Elliot and Tracy Ashe, both of Nashville; three sisters, Jo Ann Mynatt, Bettye Jean (Franklin) Dies and Linda Austin, all of Lebanon; and brother, John William Ashe of Lebanon.
The family requests memorials be made to American Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
Services for Mrs. Hamlet were Monday, May 7 at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bros. Terry Newberry and Jimmy Anderson officiating. Interment was in John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Hamlet, 77, of Gainesboro, died Friday, May 4, 2007 at her residence. She was a member of New Salem Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by parents, John Thomas and Olda Bennett Davidson; husband, Hubert Hamlet; brothers, Bernice and John Davidson; and granddaughter, Tina Earlene Thacker. Survivors include: son, Joe Eddmon (Lola) Hamlet of Cookeville; daughters, Judy Cook of Utica, Mich., Janice (Lynn) Ashburn of Gainesboro, Frances (Bill) Kemp of Cookeville and Mary Jo (Ross) Tollison of Baxter; sisters, Frances Lucille (Grover) Meadows of Gainesboro, and Betty Craigmile and Barbara Jo (Ralph) Sanders, both of Lebanon; 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Melvin C. Bogle
Services for Mr. Bogle will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Hunter Funeral home with the Rev. Kenneth Tramel officiating. Interment will be in Sycamore Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Tuesday and prior to services Wednesday.
Mr. Bogle, 91, of Watertown, died Monday, May 7, 2007, at University Medical Center. He was a member of Shop Spring Baptist Church. He was retired from Texas Boot.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mackie Lorene Bogle; parents, Smith and Altie Mae Bogle; two brothers, Robert and Willie Clarence Bogle; and a sister, Bonnie Bogle.
Survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, William R. and Elaine Bogle of Watertown; three grandchildren, Carolyn (John Constatine) Jennings of Manchester, Billy Wayne (Ann) Bogle of Statesville and Kimberly (Josh) Schuster of Hillsboro; seven great-grandchildren, Randall, Ashley, Allison, Alana, Alisha, John David and Emily; two sisters, Lonnie Mae Tate and Pauline Hayes, both of Woodbury; and nieces and nephews.
Dorothy E. Clemmons McAdoo
Services for Mrs. McAdoo will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 9 at JC Hellum Funeral Home with the Rev. Kerwin Utley officiating. Interment will be in National Cemetery at 2 p.m. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. McAdoo, 80, of Lebanon, died Saturday, May 5, 2007, at University Medical Center.
Survivors include: son, Douglas (Valleria) Gaines of Little Rock, Ark.; grandchildren, Brian (Macy) Gaines of Lebanon and Kamika and Jamaal Gaines of Little Rock; great-grandchildren, Maricus, Macieo and Mya Gaines of Lebanon; nieces, Cynthia Bass of Detroit, Mich. and Juanda (Lackatous) Moore; nephew, Johnnie (Sherry) Crudup; two great-grandnieces; a great-grandnephew; and a host of cousins and special friends.

Carolyn B. McPeak
Services for Mrs. McPeak will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 9 at Sellars Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy Yokley officiating. Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. McPeak, 60, of Lebanon, died Sunday, May 6, 2007.
She was preceded in death by parents, Wilsford and Georgie Gann Butcher and daughter, Melissa McPeak Bellar. Survivors include: husband, George McPeak; children, Angela (Terry) Coker and Shane McPeak; grandchildren, Crystal Griffin, Brandy Wright, Robin Bellar and Dylan Coker; sisters, Marion (Learly) Jones and Sharon (Gary) Haskins; brothers, Jerry (Micki), Paul (Becky), Ricky (Jan) and Derrick (Christy) Butcher; great-grandchild, Naylon Banks; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Terry Coker, Joseph Baer, and Jerry, Paul, Ricky and Derrick Butcher.
Graveside services for Mrs. Sweat will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 9 at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Sweat, 71, of Lebanon, died Saturday, May 5, 2007.
She was preceded in death by parents and eight children. Survivors include: children, Donald, Danny, Dustin and Darlene Sweat, Diana Cossel and Dinise Hixon.; daughter-in-law, Sherry Sweat; and 14 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Sweat family in care of Wilson County Funeral Home.
