Robert Paul Missimer
Memorial services for Mr. Missimer will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 3 at Hermitage Presbyterian Church with Dr. Jim Moran officiating.
Mr. Missimer, 81, of Mt. Juliet, died Saturday, March 31, 2007. He was born in Philadelpihia, Penn. where he graduated from Roxborough High School and attended Drexel University. He was a Seabee in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was employed with the company formerly known as PennWalt for 25 years. He was a faithful Presbyterian and a member of Hermitage Presbyterian Church. He loved tending his vegetable garden and was always willing to do volunteer work.
He was preceded in death by parents, Paul and Edith Smith Missimer. Survivors include: wife, Helen J. "Midge" Missimer; children, Richard (Julie) Missimer of Mt. Juliet and Jeanne (John) Napier of Blue Bell, Penn.; sister, Patricia (Fazal) Ahmad of South Miami, Fla.; grandchildren, William (Margaret) and Stephen Napier and Cassie and Sarah Missimer; several nieces; and a nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
Bond Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
