BREAKING NEWS: Tractor-trailer fire blocks traffic on Highway 109

A tractor-trailer caught fire on Highway 109 near Leeville Pike today at about 4:35 p.m.

Lebanon police blocked traffic on Highway 109 while responders extinguished the fire.

According to police Chief Scott Bowen, one of the truck's fuel tanks ruptured during the fire, spilling fuel on the road.

There were no injuries, according to Bowen.

Police reopened both southbound lanes and one northbound lane on Highway 109.
