Dearies Kjuan Butler
Mr. Butler, 29, of Mt. Juliet, died Wednesday.
Services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Garden of Prayer Tabernacle. Visitation is Saturday from 3:30-8 p.m. at Neuble Monument Funeral Home LLC and one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the church
Virginia Lee Elliott
Pastor Gene Marine will officiate funeral services at the Eichholtz Funeral Home, Bellefontaine on Saturday, Jan. 5 at 1 p.m. with visitation two hours prior. Burial will follow in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
Ms. Elliott, 69, of Mt. Juliet, passed away at home on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on June 13, 1943 to the late Ralph R. and Mildred V. Gildow Williams Sr. Virginia was employed at the UPS Store in Mt. Juliet as a customer service associate. She loved to bowl and was a member of several leagues the past few years. She enjoyed collecting Longaberger baskets and Boyd’s Bears. Virginia was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and enjoyed watching football and basketball. Shopping was also a favorite pastime of hers.
Virginia is survived by her children: Joni Cochran and Jami Porter, both of Mt. Juliet and Joe Elliott of Indianapolis, Ind.; grandchildren, Jennifer Kay (Daniel) Wells and Michael Porter Jr.; her brother, Ralph R. “Rea” (Kathy) Williams Jr. of Bellefontaine; a nephew, Nicolas Williams; and her ex-husband, Dan Elliott of Marion.
Helen G. Hays Hawker
Funeral services for Mrs. Hawker are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6 at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. John Petree officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation Saturday from 2-6 p.m. and Sunday after 10 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Hawker, 68, of Lebanon, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at University Medical Center.
Born May 16, 1944, in Statesville, she was the daughter of the late Shafter and Ella Hale Hays. She retired from Toshiba and was a Baptist. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dana Hawker; and two sisters, Ruth Gann and Dorothy Hodges.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Hawker; three daughters, Loretta Hawker of Lebanon, Melissa Ghazaz of New Johnsonville and Diana Brown; son, Tim Bennett; two sisters, Nell Wrye and Ruby Edwards, all of Lebanon; grandchildren, Kade Hawker, Kayla Bennett, Charles Brown and Eli Hawker; great-grandson, Kayden Hawker; and her beloved dog, Bo Hawker.
Patricia Ann Lackey
Funeral services for Ms. Lackey were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 at Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Atnip officiating. Interment was at Jones Hill Cemetery in Watertown.
Ms. Lackey, 59, of Smithville, died Friday morning, Dec. 28, 2012 at DeKalb Community Hospital in Smithville. She was the daughter of the late Loyd and Katherine Brashears of Watertown.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Sherry Butler of Springfield; granddaughter, Jaleeya Lackey; sister, Peggy Johns Monroe of Lebanon; brothers, Karl Brashears of Florida and Jeff Brashears of Alexandria; nieces, Melissa Faye Johns Dozier and Renee (Michael) Thorne, both of Lebanon; aunts, Clara Dagley, Linda (Jimmy) Hendrix and Faye (William) Dugger, all of Lawrenceburg.
Edna Mae Winfree
Funeral services for Mrs. Winfree will be a 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Carroll and Bro. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment will be at Jones Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. till service time on Monday.
Mrs. Winfree, 78, of Watertown, died Friday morning, Jan. 4, 2013 at her residence. She was born Feb. 11, 1934 in Union, S.C., daughter of the late Herbert Clarence and Inez Jones Garner and was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Wesley Winfree on June 4, 1994.
Edna is survived by her daughters, Glenda Musice of Lebanon, Debbie (Terry) Stuart of Watertown, Beverly King of Lebanon and Ginger Thompson of Watertown; grandchildren, Joey (Teresa) Musice, Todd (Denise) Musice, Jason (Jeannie) Marlar, Nick (Kendra) Marlar, Chris Morgan, Brandy Morgan, Shanna and Casey Thompson; great-grandchildren, Kyle and Austin Musice, Robin, Taylor and Nicole Crowell, Hayden Musice, Jadon, Jared and Jamison Marlar, Miranda and Nixon Marlar, Kierston, Kylie and Kenzie Morgan, Brianna Anderson, Wesley Perkins, Rowan, Rhex, Stellah and Cash Hale; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers, Jeff Hale, Terry Stuart, Hoover Corley, Jerry King, Dale Thompson, Tommy Morgan.
