Roy Fay Counce
Services for Mr. Counce will be 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, at Bond Memorial Chapel in Mt. Juliet with Bro. Mike Reid officiating. Interment with Military Honors will be 11 a.m. at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at the funeral home.
Mr. Counce, 66, of Mt. Juliet, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012. He was born in May of 1942 in Counce, Tenn. He grew up in Gallatin and served his country in the United States Marines as crew chief on a UH-34D helicopter in Vietnam. He was a longtime resident of Mt. Juliet and spent his retirement years repairing lawnmowers for many customers.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Kinnie and Linda Counce; sister, Carolyn Counce Kiber; and brother-in-law, Homer Gray.
Survivors include: daughter, Selena (Jack) Wilmore of Franklin; sons, Steven M. (Kristen) and Joshua (Jennifer) Counce, both of Mt. Juliet; grandchildren, Lucas, Beth Ann and Allison Wilmore and Mattie, Aubry and Warner Counce; Ann K. Counce of Mt. Juliet; sister, Jane Counce Gray of Gallatin; brothers, Kenneth (Jean) Counce of Gallatin and Larry (Sharon) Counce of Nashville; brother-in-law, Mickey Kiber of Tullahoma; uncle, Graper (Betty) Counce of Germantown; Lois Counce of Smyrna; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and many neighbors and friends.
Services for Mrs. Farley will be 2 p.m. Wednesday August 8, at Partlow Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kevin Medlin officiating. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7 and noon until the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Farley, 82, died Monday August 6, 2012.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Bethel and Ethel Bennett Tyree; husband, Norman Edwin Farley; and sister, Irene Tyree Henson.
Survivors include: son, Roger H. Farley of Lebanon; grandchildren, Leslie B. Clemmons of Lebanon and Matthew Farley of Gladeville; great-grandchild, McKane Clemmons; brothers, Leonard Tyree and Basil Tyree both of Lebanon, Randy Tyree of Knoxville. Mrs. Farley was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Randall 'Randy' Hall
A Celebration of Life for Mr. Hall was held Sunday, Aug. 5, in Davenport, Iowa.
Mr. Hall, 41, of Davenport and formerly of Lebanon, died Sunday, July 29, 2012. He was born in June of 1971 in Carthage to Jerry and the late Donna Williamson Hall.
He was preceded in death by: mother; and stepson, Brian.
Survivors include: wife, Amber Means; mother- and father-in-law, Julie Means and Larry Parmley; children, Kayla, Glenda, Kathan, Isaac (Kamren), Emily (Dezaray), Thomas (Salem) and Dezire; siblings, Gerald Hall, Brandy (Anthony) Bruan, Angela Williams and Gary (G.G.) Williams; and uncle, Miah.
Nancy Carolyn Dickerson Mofield
Graveside Services for Mrs. Mofield will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at Mofield Family Cemetery in the Rawls Creek Community with Bro. Jimmy Gregory officiating. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-12:35 p.m. on Tuesday at Sanderson in Carthage.
Mrs. Mofield, 70, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012 at Quality Care Health Care. She was retired from Winn Precision in Lebanon where she was employed for over 14 years. She was of the Southern Baptist faith and was the last surviving child of the late Horace and Annie Mai Slatton Dickerson from the Hiwassie Community of Smith Co.
She was preceded in death by: parents; husband of 45 years, Billy D. Mofield; sons, Billy Steve and Michael David Mofield; sister, Belva Jean Peach; and brothers, Robert and Hal Dickerson.
Survivors include: children, Randy Mofield, Yvonne (Jack) Jarvis, Charlotte (Buddy) Gann, Connie (James) Gray, all of Lebanon, Cathy (John) McDowell of Blacksburg, Va. and Michael Mofield of Lebanon; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Evelyn F. Wahl
A Funeral Mass for Mrs. Wahl will be 11 a.m. Thursday Aug. 9, at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church. Father Michael O’Bryan will be officiating. Interment in Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8 and 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services on Thursday at Partlow Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Wahl, 92, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012 at Gallatin Health Care Center. She was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church in Lebanon and St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Gallatin, and was a seamtress and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Frank and Eva Callahan Faerber; husband, Julian Wahl; daughter, Juliana Eskew; and granddaughter, Kimberly Eskew.
Survivors include: sons, George (Anna) Wahl of Gallatin, Bill (Judy) Wahl of Md. and Charles Wahl of Ga.; daughter, Vicki (Mike) Griffin of Bethpage; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Grandsons to serve as Pallbearers.
Evelyn Virginia Warise
Services for Mrs. Warise will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Hunter Funeral Home in Watertown with Bro. Jim Creech officiating. Interment in Jones Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7 and prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Warice, 73, of Smyrna, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012 at Christian Care of Rutherford Co. She was born in Dec. of 1938 in Brush Creek. Her church affiliation was Highland Heights Church of Christ in Smyrna and she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by: parents, George and Florence Elizabeth Robinson; sister, Mary Elizabeth Robinson; and brothers, James, George, Charles and William Robinson.
Survivors include: husband, Billy Joe Warise of Smyrna; sons, William Joe (Lori) and Matthew Scott (Lita) Warise, both of Murfreesboro and Timothy Roland (Jacklyn) Warise of Smyrna; and granddaughter, Chelsea Madison Warise of Smyrna.
