MJCA girls get 10 wins for first time, rout Radnor
MT. JULIET — Mt. Juliet Christian's girls reached 10 wins for the first time in school history Thursday with a 41-11 rout of Radnor Baptist.
The Lady Saints led 8-4 following the first quarter and 21-8 at halftime before pitching a third-quarter shutout to go up 26-8 as they improved to 10-8.
Christine Humes notched nine points for Mt. Juliet Christian while Anna Haley, who signed Thursday morning to play for Bryan College, added eight.
Paige Hudson supplied seven points, nine steals and eight assists while Ashley Hudson and Holly Morgan put up matching numbers of four points and nine rebounds while Lauren Bean finished with four points and six caroms.
Kristen Tewmey threw in three points and Leanna Sanders two.
Mt. Juliet Christian will host Webb School at 6 p.m. Saturday.
