Lady Bears rip Glencliff

NASHVILLE — Mt. Juliet tossed in 10 three-point baskets Wednesday night as the Lady Bears beat Glencliff 60-40 in the Leroy Wright Thanksgiving Invitational at Hunters Lane.
Taylor Hall led the 2-0 Lady Bears with 15 points, including a trio of triples. K.C. VanAtta fired in four threes on her way to 14. Heather Miller managed 12 from inside while Jordan Nixon notched nine.
Becca Sharpe sank two treys and Megan Read one. Macie Gleaves flipped in a free throw.
Mt. Juliet raced to a 58-19 lead through three quarters before Coach Chris Fryer inserted his subs for the fourth.
Carolyn Mills totaled 22 points for Glencliff.
Mt. Juliet will return today for a 4 p.m. semifinal game against Whites Creek.
