Apr 03, 2007 12:00 am
SMYRNA — Wilson Central took care of its scoring early and Leevie Greenwood took care of Smyrna's hitting in a 5-1 Lady Wildcat win Thursday.

After surrendering a run in the bottom of the first, Greenwood handcuffed the Lady Bulldogs the rest of the way, allowing five hits and four walks while notching nine strikeouts as the Lady Wildcats climbed to 6-3 for the season and 3-0 in District 9-AAA.
Savana Bell, Courtney Billington, Sara Williams and Shelley Stewart stroked singles for Central.
The Lady Wildcats travel to Franklin today for a 5:30 p.m. varsity game at Coach Ashley Putman-Serbin's alma mater, Page. The JV will follow.
