Elizabeth Scruggs, owner of Superior Construction and Design, is a licensed general contractor, interior decorator and expert psychological stager (EPS; RESA-Pro) who loves what she does and loves that she can get up every day “and help put a smile on someone’s face.”

Her company was voted Best Decorator/Organizer for 2015 – a repeat from 2014, and also was named a finalist both years for Best Builder/Construction company.

She can handle your project from start to finish – building your home, then putting together a finished interior design to reflect your style.

“I started building about 20 years ago when I built our first home in Lebanon and fell in love with the process. I usually have several very different projects going at once, and that is what I love."

From expertly staging real estate using a psychological method in which she is certified, to a complete remodel or new construction, to color specification for your interior or exterior space - Elizabeth's business is a full service design/build firm. Superior Construction and Design is a member of the Lebanon/ Wilson County Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA), and Associate Member of the Interior Design Society (IDS). Elizabeth is a member of the Nashville Influencers Group; a group comprised of Nashville bloggers, designers and media personalities who exchange and help promote creative ideas and projects. Additionally, she was awarded the prestigious "Best Of Houzz 2015" award from Houzz.com.

Elizabeth writes a blog on her web site entitled The Collected Interior, and a magazine column entitled Coming Home.

She loves to read, write, watch movies, dig in her garden, and be with her family. In addition, she dabbles in antiques under the same name as her blog, The Collected Interior, at Antiques on 231 in Lebanon.

“I'm a Southern girl through and through, and pretty much a very old soul. I believe in good manners and grace, and that kindness goes a very long way. I believe that your home is your refuge - your safe place. If it is not orderly and comfortable, then you can't be either.”

“I am so blessed in my job in that I have so many friends become clients, and clients that have become dear friends,” she adds.
