Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam announced the appointments of 116 Tennesseans to 39 boards and commissions, which included three Wilson County residents.

“I appreciate the commitment of these men and women and want to thank them for their willingness to serve the state,” Haslam said.

Appointment terms are varied due to differing statutory requirements or term limits determined by specific qualifications.

Dawn Bradley, of Lebanon, was named to the Advisory Council for the Education of Students with Disabilities. Ronald Gillihan II, of Mt. Juliet, was named to the Barber Board of Examiners. Rounding out the appointments from Wilson County, Lana Bennett, of Mt. Juliet, was named to the Traumatic Brain Injury Advisory Committee.
