Lebanon police are seeking the public's help in finding a suspect accused of stabbing a man Monday in Lebanon.

Police said a warrant was issued for Adrian Lopez, 23, of Lebanon, charging aggravated assault.

The charge stems from an incident early Monday morning in which a man was stabbed outside No. 2 Head Homes.

Paramedics took the victim to Vanderbilt, where he underwent surgery and was listed in critical condition. By Wednesday, doctors upgraded the victim's condition to stable.

Police said the suspect, Lopez, was living in Hunters Creek apartments, but he is also know to stay in Nashville. A witness told police Lopez may be staying in the Antioch area.

"If you know this person or see him, please do not approach him, as he is considered dangerous," said Chief Scott Bowen in a statement. "Please call the police department at 615-444-2323 with any information you have that may lead to the arrest of this suspect."
