FCS sweeps Greenbrier

GREENBRIER — Friendship Christian's boys blanked Greenbrier 9-0 while the girls won 8-1 Thursday.
Singles winners for the Commanders were Dillon Bane, Andrew Neely, Jordan Huddleston, Hunter Harwell, Jonathan Huddleston and Michael Smith.
Bane and Neely, the Huddleston brothers and Harwell and Smith posted doubled victories.
Singles winners for the Lady Commanders were Paige Watson, Christen Tressler, Amanda Ferrell, Ashley Ayub, Katie Mitchell, Laura Wilson, Jenna Hazelwood and Carly Warmath.
Ferrell and Ayub, Mitchell and Hazelwood and Wilson and Warmath posted doubles wins with Watson and Tressler absorbing Friendship's only loss as both FCS teams improved to 2-0.
Friendship will travel to Hendersonville to take on Merrol Hyde at 3:30 p.m. Monday.
