Double-digit lead slips away from Saints in fourth quarter

MT. JULIET — Radnor Baptist's boys rallied from a nine-point deficit to start the fourth quarter Thursday night and overtook Mt. Juliet Christian 56-52.
Huey Newberry tossed in two three-pointers on his way to 20 points while Dustin Donnell fired in four triples en route to 19 for Radnor, which battled back from a 45-34 deficit entering the fourth.
The Saints led 18-13 following the first quarter and 35-18 at halftime before slipping to 9-9 for the season.
Victor Underwood tossed in 21 points for Mt. Juliet Christian while Bryce Middleton managed 12. Zach Womble finished with five, Austin Wortman and Blake Marsh four apiece and Daniel Shedd and Jonathan Roberts a three-pointer apiece.
Mt. Juliet Christian will host Webb School on Saturday night.
