Devilettes fall to 4th in District 7-AAA

MURFREESBORO — Lebanon's reeling girls fell behind by 15 points in the first quarter Monday before rallying in the fourth to lose 59-39 to Siegel in the District 7-AAA consolation contest at Riverdale.
Siegel led 21-6 following the first quarter and 34-9 at halftime as the Lady Stars moved to 21-11 for the season. Lebanon won the fourth 23-9 but finished fourth at 10-22.
Kristen Seigenthaler fired in four three-pointers on her way to 14 points for Siegel while Carrie Parrott threw in 13.
Icelyn Elie notched a game-high 19 points for Lebanon while Kim Ha and Ebony Marshall each added eight and London Elie four.
Lebanon will travel to Shelbyville, a 62-33 winner over Lawrence County in the District 8-AAA finals, later this week for the Region 4-AAA opener.
