Third-ranked Rosario won a 7-4 decision over Midland’s Isaiha Johnson in the backdraw at 133 but then lost two straight, a 4-3 decision to Midland’s eighth-ranked David Berg and a 12-0 major decision against sixth-ranked Jake Sinkovics from the University of the Cumberlands in the fifth-place match.
Fifth-ranked Delaune registered a 10-3 decision versus Indiana Tech’s 10th-rated Dillon Fransisco but lost by fall to Grand View’s third-ranked Michael Pixley. The New Orleans, La., native then dropped a 7-5 decision to Lindsey Wilson’s Matt Walker in the fifth-place match.
