Freeze warning issued for Tuesday night

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for Middle Tennessee from 7 p.m. Tuesday night until 10 a.m. Wednesday morning. Freezing temperatures are expected Wednesday night as well. 

NWS predicts temperatures near 20° F for Middle Tennessee on Tuesday and Wednesday night. Sensitive plants should be protected and outdoor animals provided with proper shelter.

Temperatures will warm during the day on Wednesday, but drop into the 20s again Wednesday night. These two back to back nights of hard freezes will impact any outdoor vegetation that has already started to grow, according to NWS.
