Three state road projects continue in Wilson County

Staff Reports • Oct 11, 2017 at 7:53 PM

Three state road projects could cause delays for motorists in Wilson County in the near future, according to Tennessee Department of Transportation officials.

Resurfacing on State Route 171 from Interstate 40 to Division Street will cause temporary lane closures nightly from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. on State Route 171 to allow for pavement marking operations. One lane will remain open.

Also, resurfacing on State Route 109 from Interstate 840 to I-40 will cause temporary lane closures nightly from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. to allow for pavement marking operations. One lane will remain open.

A traffic light installation on East Baddour Parkway at the intersection of Bluebird Road-C.L. Manier Street is nearing completion. Alternating outside lane closures at the intersection are planned daily from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., excluding weekends, to complete the project, which will include pavement markings and loops. One lane will remain open at all times.
