Friendship rallies past Station Camp

Friendship Christian rallied from an 0-2 start to overtake visiting Station Camp 24-26, 20-25, 25-22, 25-23, 15-12 Thursday at the Bay Family Sportsplex.

Tana Whited totaled 265 assists, 21 digs, four kills and four aces for Friendship while Morgan Vallett had 13 digs, nine kills and an ace; Madeline Holton seven kills, two aces and two blocks; Libby Nave 14 digs and six aces and Savannah Robinson 10 kills and four aces.

Friendship is playing in the Bulldog Bash this weekend at Smyrna. The Lady Commanders will return home for a Monday match against University School of Nashville.

Watertown downs Trousdale, falls to Lebanon

WATERTOWN — Watertown opened District 8-A play Thursday with a 25-14, 25-22, 15-7 win over Trousdale County before falling to Lebanon 25-17, 25-18.

Against Lebanon, Paige Mock managed three kills, two digs and an ace for the Tigerettes while Bailey Griffin managed four digs and two kills, Victoria Foster four digs and an ace, Katie Dalton a kill and an ace, Allison Bouton four digs, Emily Gleason three kills, Brandi Hill two kills and Allie Postin one kill as Watertown moved to 2-2 for the season.

MJCA falls to DCA in four

Mt. Juliet Christian Academy fell to Donelson Christian Academy in four sets Thursday.

The Lady Saints succumbed to DCA 17-25, 25-14, 14-25, 19-25, falling to 2-1 for the season.

MJCA’s Lauren Wankel finished with eight kills and teammate Meredith Orr had 13 assists. The Lady Saints will travel to Hendersonville Christian on Monday for a 6 p.m. contest.

In middle school action Thursday, Mt. Juliet Christian outlasted Madison Academy 25-20, 18-25, 15-10.

Abigail Wilson was the Lady Saints’ top server, followed by Gracie Webb.
