Hendrick wins on TGA Jr. Tour

CHAPEL HILL — Lebanon's Caroline Hendrick won the TGA Junior Tour's girls' 12-18 tour Tuesday.

Hendrick shot a two-day 171 off rounds of 82 and 89 for a five-stroke win.

Anna Leigh Cleveland, also of Lebanon, was 11th with a 195 off rounds of 103 and 92.

In the boys' 13-15 tour, Mt. Juliet's Luke Raines finished in a tie for 11th place with a 171 after rounds of 86 and 85. Lebanon's Charlie Booher II tied for 19th when his rounds of 96 and 85 added a 181.

At Niota, Mt. Juliet's Lise Malherbe finished in a tie for second place Tuesday at Springbrook Golf & Country Club.

Malherbe shot an 85 to tie Maryville's Kelly Herman, nine strokes behind winner Kaitlyn Sneed of Decaturville but just one in front of fourth-place Danielle Bates of Benton in the girls' 15-under masters division.

At Millstone Golf Club in Morristown, Lebanon's Clay-Alden Palmer posted an 87 to finish eighth in the boys' 13-15 masters.

At Belle Meade Country Club in Nashville, Lebanon's Ryann Hallums shot a 116 to finish 13th in the girls' 16-18 masters.

LGCC pro finishes 15th

GALLATIN — Lebanon Golf & Country Club pro Audie Johnson tied for 15th place with a two-round 148 in the Yamaha Players Championship at the Club of Foxland Harbor.

Johnson shot a 72 Monday and 76 Tuesday to finish eight strokes off the pace. He was tied for 10th in the club pro category.
