Tigerettes trounce York 15-0 to keep going

WATERTOWN — Watertown remained alive in the 8-AA tournament Monday afternoon with a 15-0 rout of York Institute.

The Tigerettes scored in all three at-bats, amassing 16 hits, as they advanced to a Tuesday-night loser-out game against Smith County or DeKalb County.

Ashlea Dickens drove in four runs and Alicia House three as both homered. Ridge Morgan racked up three singles and Jada Moss two as each knocked in two scores. Abby Cooper doubled as she, House, Madi Hearn and McKenna George had two hits apiece.

Watertown scored twice in the first inning, eight times in the second and five in the third.
