Clarence ‘Glenn’ Gilmore

A celebration of life service for Mr. Gilmore will be Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Tusculum Church of Christ Chapel at 6117 Nolensville Pike in Nashville with Mike Beck officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service hour at 11 a.m. at the church.

Mr. Gilmore passed away Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017 at home surrounded by his family after battling bladder cancer at the age of 77.

Glenn, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend, was adored by all who knew him. He was born July 15, 1940 to the late Archie Clarence Gilmore and the late Edna Pauline Massey Gilmore.

Mr. Gilmore is survived by his wife of 48 years, Cynthia Beatty Gilmore; daughter, Kimberly Gilmore Beck; son-in-law, Mike Beck, who has been like a son to Glenn; grandson, Elliott Clarence Beck; daughter, Melissa Diane Gilmore; David Stevens and Jourdan; sisters, Sandra Gail (Rod) Purkett, Judith Ann (Ron) Johnson; nieces, Angie Owen, Connie Hitt, Meredith Johnson; and nephews, Anthony Ford and Chris Hallums.
