Visitation for Mr. Hallum will be Thursday from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at Mayfair Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Gary Bradley officiating. Burial will be at Fowler Cemetery in Lewisburg.

Mr. Hallum, 80, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away Monday.

Mr. Hallum was a proud U.S. Marine who graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and was a member of the Blue Raider football team. He was also a proud member of the Lebanon High School football team, which went 32 games without a loss. He was a member of Mayfair Church of Christ and worked for TRW in Lebanon and the Corps of Engineers in Huntsville, Alabama.

Survivors include his wife, Edna Hallum; son, Danny (Susan) Hallum, Chris (Michelle) Hallum; daughter, Sharon (Joshua) Arce; sister, Rachel Fay Edwards; brother, Joe (Chris) Hallum; grandchildren, Ashley Upton, Matt Hallum, Melissa Jackson, Andrew Gill, Laura Lee Smith, Wesley Hallum, Trey Briscoe, Jake Hallum; great-grandchildren, Isabella Jackson, Cole Jackson, Colby Upton, Gentry Smith, Scarlett Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in honor of Jake Hallum.
